Hi,

I downloaded the free template Mo06f.
This is a template which should have a layered PNG.
When I open it in Adobe Fireworks CS3, there is only 1 layer in it, so I can't modify the "rollover" buttons (they don't exist in this PNG).
Has somebody a solution for this, or does somebody khow if there is a working PNG available?

Thanks
Jeanmarc

Hi, the PNG file included in the template is layered and all of the layers exist. To change the buttons, export the slice(s) for "over" stage then change to other blend mode for each button and export again the slice(s) for "out" stage. The roll-over script is not generated from Fireworks CS3, usually because is too complicated for this simple task :)

Thanks, I see what you mean. However, I did not managed to export the 2 stages yet.
The export of the slice for the "out"-stage works fine, but when I try to change the blend to the "over"-stage, nothing happens (select the slice, try to change the blend, but the blend stays "normal").
I think I'm doing something wrong (I'm a newbie for Fireworks  :-\) so I will studie the "blendfunction" of Fireworks CS for this particular case. I'll let you know the result.

...select the slice, try to change the blend, but the blend stays "normal"...

You should select the layer not the slice of the button. The blend can be changed from properties panel.
