I am a bit of a novice to webdesign and am feeling my way at the moment. I saw your templates and thought they looked fantastic and have downloaded a free one to play around with.

You say that the psd file is "multi-layered" with all the elements on seperate layers to allow easy changes. (the template I downloaded is bs03f).

When I load the psd file into Serif's Photoplus 6.0 package it seems to have all elements in a single layer and hence I can't change button text etc.

Can you help - I wonder if I am loading the wrong file into my psd editing program ?

Thanks

Hi Karl,
May be PhotoPlus 6.0 doesn't support correctly psd file format. I'm not too familiar with this program but saw on their website that the newest version (9.0) has better psd support: "PhotoPlus 9 allows you to import, edit and even export graphics in Photoshop’s PSD format."
The psd file we supply can be normally open by Photoshop 7.0 and above to CS, Fireworks MX and Paint Shop Pro 8 as well.
